Wireless for laptop

    I have a loptop with built in wireless but i have no wireless router, would i be able to get one of the wireless lan adaptors in aldi thursday ( http://www.aldi.ie/special_buys/product_316.html ) and use it to connect the laptop to the internet via the pc? Thanks

    You could but I don't know how easy it would be to set-up, and yuur PC would need to be on all the time.

    Assuming you have broadband, since your laptop already has wireless you would be better off putting the money towards a wireless router.

    You should pick one up on www.adverts.ie cheap enough.

    Alternatively if you have a spare network port on your router youcould get a wireless Access point and connect it to your existing router.
