Mapfre warranty

Get the car checked over by a competent BMW specialist before you buy so that (hopefully) you don't the warranty!

If the warranty is dodgy then why not buy from a private seller? The risk is the same but buying private should work out cheaper. And you can put the saving towards any repairs that might crop up.

The only reason I can see to buy from a dealer is from the peace of mind of having a warranty.
