    Hi

I'm hoping to (finally) get out of Ireland with friends for a week or 10 days at the end of September.

Has anyone got any suggestions of anywhere relatively cheap and cheerful, that could be arranged fairly easily, and how I could go about arranging it??
I'm a complete dunce when it comes to booking or arranging anything!

For some reason I had Greece or the Adriatic direction in mind......or that general east european direction...

    Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

    King Ian.

(PS: I'm a complete Newbie to Boards.ie so apologies if this is abusing the forum....)

hey! travelled around all of the greek islands for three months last summer and found crete to be lovely, a package holiday would be cheap enough and its pretty cheap also when you get there, apart from the usual crappy holiday resort towns there is so much to see and do, if you wanted to hire a car I could tell you loads of interesting places to go and visit, its steeped in history! and if you dont want the hassle of hiring all of these places can be seen on day trip tours.. i would definately recommend crete or rome (but rome can be a bit expensive and a bit of work to organise though)
