will post this in the travel section too.

basically will be in BA for awhile and maybe it s wishful thinking but does anybody know of an Irish owned bar that would somehow get GAA games?

    Muchas Gracias.

I should also mention that you need to go through a proxy (an ip address so that rte thinks you are in Ireland). The proxy make the RTE site think you are accessing their site from Ireland. The reasons for this is copyright issues outside of Ireland.

Its all explained on this chaps site.

You're right about the proxy but I have not been able to get that to work yet (at least not in the US).

Setanta has pay-per-view coverage from their site: http://play.www.setanta.servecast.net/setanta/gaa/
or you can listen to the Radio coverage online.

To use a free proxy is simple, only 1 browser setting needs to be adjusted.

For FireFox users go to (Tools > Options > General > Connection Settings) and select "Manual Proxy Configuration", and enter in an IP and Port from the free proxy list into the text boxes.

For Internet Explorer users go to (Tools > Internet Options > Connections > Lan), select "use proxy server" and enter in an IP and Port from the free proxy list.

By the way you may also find that you have to tweak your real player settings. That probably is the probem, Ted.
