a friend of mine who has been single for months now has just confessed that for the last 4 months he has been having the time of his life with a sex buddy he works with, he gets to go out with the lads whenever he wants, go away whenever he wants to with no questions asked and still has plenty of sex in fact in his opinion…

have you got a sex buddy lined up?

if not, you may find they're a bit harder to come across than you might think.

It can be a lot of fun if both parties are willing to keep it like that.

It's not the kind of thing you can plan though....you can't exactly just ask some random friend to be your sex buddy!!

It usually just evolves from a drunken encounter etc...

Be careful though because often one person will become too involved and want more than the other is willing to give.

As long as theres not a comma in between them & a question mark after. Your mates might take it the wrong way.

It's great to be in that situation but then you meet someone who's better than everyone else and they like you the same, its probably just as good. Or better. It depends. Even rarer than this situation though.

It can go wrong in a lot of different ways. It's not for everyone and even when all involved are the sort of people it can work for it can still go bad. Of course that's also true of any other sort of relationship.

If you want to go for it, go for it, but go in with your eyes open.

It's still less common in our society than either monogamy or casual sex, so for any given person, the chances that they will want to become occasional lovers is probably less than the chances of them wanting to have a one-nighter or entering into a monogamous relationship with you.
