Residents in cul-de-sac grouping together to sell houses?

    Does anyone remember the story of residences of a cul-de-sac in Rathgar (or was it Dun Laoghaire) who collectively sold their houses to a developer within the last year?

    A friend of mine was talking about it over the weekend and said people in her estate in Dublin were thinking of approaching a developer. I dont remember the story myself but she was certain it has happened before and it was in the paper.

    If you have a link to the story can you please post it?
