Looks cool - if the rest of the film is like that, it just might pull off the light-hearted, kick ass action that Fantastic Four tried but failed so miserably at.

All I'm saying at this time is that now more than ever am I convinced that RDJ was the right choice.

Looks absolutly amazing. Downy Jr. is a great actor, and fits the character perfectly. It will be interesting to see how they deal with Stark's alcaholism is the sequels.

The 2nd of May 2008, as it says at the end of the clip. It's supposed to be a worldwide release but Iit may turn out like Transformers and arrive over here nearly a month after America gets it.

Ah, RDJ is quite a good actor, under-rated infact. I thought he was absolutely perfect from the second I heard he was up for the role.

It's director Jon Favreau I'm not so sure about.

It's on a couple of streaming sites, but being taken down very quickly so be fast!

    DailyMotion

Or download it from Rapidshare here!

PS - looks fantastic. Both Robert Downey Jr and Jon Favreau might make this great!

In case it gets pulled again I'm going to put it on some personal space for a couple of days, PM for a link if you want it. I'll probably be out for the rest of the night, but I'll get around to replying tomorrow.

Saw it from Dailymotion,Savage. I like the angle Downey Jnr is using, stark should be half prick half hero.
    Impresive.

yup, i can honestly say this doesnt suck! :D:D

was kinda worried about this one. shell head can look kinda stupid in daylight if he's not lit right but they seemed to pull it off. nice to see the old grey armour and the scene with the new armour and the jets was lovely.

really looking forward to this one. and downey jr kicks arse as tony :D

As good as 'Iron Man' looks...

... come on, it's 'The Dark Knight' for fecks sake... next question!

Yeah, one of them has to win and reduce the other to ashes, because we couldn't just be happy that if all goes well, we'll end up getting two great action films that happen to be superhero films, could we...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 44,295 ✭✭✭✭Basq

Fysh... stop talking crazy, damnit! ;)

I know, me and my damnfool radical views :D

I'm looking forward to both films, because I reckon that they'll confirm what I've suspected for a while - that superhero films (generally from existing comic licenses, but not necessarily) are now established as the new flavour of action film that have taken over from the likes of Arnie/Sly Stallone flicks...

Its a nice turn up for the books though, at the same time we're getting 2 superhero movies - both played by particularly brilliant actors, the likes of which don't usually do superhero movies. It'll be a good month.

Well we are not going to have to stress ourselves too much over this highly debatable topic it seems because 'The Dark Knight' is going to be released in July and 'Iron Man' is penciled in for May. They both look like they are going to be great though, as does a whole chunk of next years releases..........kind of puts this year to shame really.

Next question: Basquille was it you that said that 'Superman Returns' was going to be good??? ;)

Nonsense.. with gems like 'Hairspray' and upcoming soon-to-be-Oscar (or slightly more likely, Razzie) winner, 'Who's Your Caddy?' (that's right... it's a golf movie starring a mainly black cast - or couldn't you have guessed by the title!)

I can't remember saying it... as i recall being let-down by at least one of the theatrical trailers.

And with Bryan Singer's direction, it was gonna be tough to f*ck it up.

    But boy, did he ever!
