We're flying to London in November, staying a couple of days and then getting the Eurostar to Paris, staying a couple of days then flying back to Dublin.

So we're flying into Gatwick and I think we'll get the train over to Kings Cross/St Pancras as the new Eurostar terminal will be open then. I reckon we can base ourselves around there.
In Paris we'll be getting out at Gare du Nord and leaving out of Charles deGaulle. Since the train to Charles deGaulle goes from Gare du Nord we could base oruselves around there.

So anyone recommend a decent reasonably priced hotel that we can easily get to from Kings Cross station? and one we can easily get to from Gare du Nord?

    Thanks

Check out Tripadvisor.com for recommendations in both cities. I wouldn't be staying anywhere near Kings Cross station to be honest.

It's hard to recommend a hotel if you give no indication of budget and/or tastes.

At least on TA you can run a search based on availability and price then read the reviews.

It doesn't have to be next door to the station just quickly accessible by tube.

As for budget, the cheaper the better but not a hostel or anywhere that's a total dump.
