Hi guys

For the people that have the PC version of GTA San Andreas, it is a known bug that when it rains, the sound often goes funny and you cannot hear motor sounds or speech - just radio

This used to bug me for ages. I tried downloading the 1.1 patch, which claims to fix it, but it did nothing

So I read somewhere on the internet that if you run dxdiag, and go to Hardware Sound Acceleration Level on the Sound tab, and reduce it from Full to Basic, it solves the problem.

Sorry if this is posted before and sorry if it is common knowledge, I hope it helps someone, it sure helped me

yeah I had to do that a while back. It's best not to update to 1.1 for the multiplayer mods either.
