Saw an ad for this crowd on TV http://www.keepumoving.co.uk/.

Is this even ethical? Does this sort of insurance simply encourage the habitual offenders to simply speed away and they will get a big cash payout?

    opinions?

Well one can insure against almost anything however a grand a month (at best) won't cover the sheer hell of not being able to drive for most people.

i assume having a driving ban could have serious financial implications for some people, some people can lose there jobs with a ban so insurance could help with that, I seriously doubt anyone is going to purposely speed to get a ban so they can claim insurance and i'm sure there are safeguards against this anyway, if there wasnt then the company providing the insurance would be in a lose lose situation

Contracts which are deemed to be contrary to public policy are not enforced by the courts. I would like to see the fine print on the insurance proposal form. I wonder how many people have successfully claimed on these policies.
