if ever you guys needed any further incentive to sign up with cardrunners, the recent recruitment of jman (omgclayaiken) should be enough..

been watchin' this guy play online for some time now and i can say that it's an absolute treat to be finally able to listen to his insightful discussion on each hand whilst also being able to view his whole cards..

although taylor (founder) is a highstakes player, i think most of his plays and discussions (mostly 2+2 known facts) are standard and a lot of midstakes players don't gain much from it... though, bringing jman and townsend to the team has set a new precedent for thinking in a new way with regards to online poker and hearing their thoughts on the new game is surely worth the signup fee alone..

so i urge you, if your serious about your midstakes game, to soak up the signup fee and listen to what these guys have to say.. the games are changing and these are the guys leading the way..

    on a sidenote:
a lot of players nowadays are concerned about getting coaching at ridiculous prices because they feel like they're missing out on some hidden secrets or something..
the fact is, online poker is hard work.. nobody else can push you through it .. i really believe that the best form of learning at the moment is by getting as many hands as possible in per day and discussing them with your friends.. beit 2+2, msn, boards or whatever.. no amount of money for coaching can absorb this..
also, there's no need to push the barriers of your bankroll.. eg: if you feel 2tabling the .50/1 game has caught up with you, try 8tabling the .10/.25c games.. you'll learn a whole lot more and have many more marginal spots etc to discuss with friends.. -database, share, discuss, work..

cardrunners is a community much like boards, and it's through discussion and sharing that we all benifit... it's pretty forunate though that we have 2 of the best online pros at the moment sharing videos and analysis over at cardrunners at this moment so i urge you all to check them out if you havn't already..

(ridiculous amount of rambling there, notice no links.. although it might look like it, i'm no shill goddamnit!)

fav quote from jman's 1st video: ¨i don't know anything about 'ErtleTheTurtle'... except that i like his name..¨

I think it would be a worthwhile investment at 200nl and maybe 100nl but say for me at 50nl I don't think it would be worth the dent to bankroll especially when I have yet to exhaust the twoplustwo archives. I would be much more inclined to do it first and then do cardrunners as hopefully by then I will have more of a roll and therefore the percentage I use for cardrunners is much lesser.
