    Is this the latest vanity scam in DUBLIN? For €95 you can get your photo taken for inclusion in a list of "Extras" for films to be shot in Ireland. Sounds like a great scam for vain people to part with their money, but quite a cynical and clever one.

    that's what happens.

    you only get paid if you get work... and somehow i doubt work in fair city will get your €95 back quick...

    you only get paid if you get work... and somehow i doubt work in fair city will get your €95 back quick...

    The last time I got called "fair city twice" the going rate was €62.50 ish per day.

    Had to stop once I got back into full time employment.
    But there are guys who do it very regular and make a fair few bob out of it.

    This is as old as the hills - however I think they used to give the money back if there was no takes within the 1st year.... The really puzzling part is why RTE ran items on this in their TV and radio "news" yesterday - remarkable for the state broadcaster to publicise a private commercial operation in such a "hooray henry" manner. :eek:
