The blue one there ;) . Although a White Falcon would definitely hit the spot nicely too.:p

Said goodbye to that Epiphone recently, should have pics up of its replacement soon.:)

    the angel sword guitar

or a guitar that has some similar fantasy/sci fi design and which has a both a tremolo locking system and bar but which also has a tremolo activated light pad, so that by moving my hand across it, the strings will bend. Also it would have another tremolo arm socket between the neck and one of the arms like Johnny Greenwoods custom telecaster. The headstock would be in a design similar to Ibanez, pyramidal. It would also have low action and 24 frets. I would also have artwork by Giger on it. On the metal bit at the back on the body just under the neck my name and the name of my band would be inscribed (hey it is my dream guitar after all!) And it would have many, many pickups, preferably Fender or Ibanez, or both!

But seeing as the former is unaffordable and on ebay, while the other would cost a fortune and isnt made yet this guitar would be nice.

nyarlothothep, for the pickup selection and ribbon controller instead of a light beam, you could get very close to that with the upcoming Roland Vg-99.

I dream of a guitar with a gorgeous flamed maple top and mahogany body like a Gibson, only with the body countours and comfort of a strat. Actually, better contours than a strat, deeper cutaways for improved access, and a rounder heel for same reason.

I'll take the humbucker design that Gibson made famous and hot-rod it (but put a five way selector on so I can still get twangy tones), and i'll take the crappy trem off a strat, and fix it so it has better range & stays in tune. Flatten the neck a bit for smoother vibrato and lower action, and slim it out too for comfort, finish it in a lovely satin 'not too smooth, not too rough' finish.

Angle the jack upwards, so the cable doesnt fall out if I step on it, and give the whole shebang the best fret-job you've ever seen. Finish with a snazzy stain to show off the maple top, and thin laquer coating. That's my dream guitar.

Maybe a bit far fetched, but ah well, I can only dream...;)

There's a company in the states, also available here thru a dealer in Cork. can't remember the name but they make a copy of that Ovation electric. Its pretty affordable too!

My dream guitar is a 1950's Les Paul Jr. single cut

Just like this, pity I can't play guitar for ****....haha

My dream bass is another story. Nobody makes it. So I'm putting it together myself!

It's been on the go since 2005. I hope to have it finished this year and possibly refine it a little bit more in the next year or two.

Expect lots of pics when its done.

In terms of dream guitar I'm still torn between the origonal PRS Tremonti in black and the newer Tremonti II in charcoal burst. *NYOM*

Yeah the good old ESP 7's, cant go wrong really, I still think that Carpenters guitars are some of the best looking and best playing 7's around, and Devin Townsends custom is only deadly, love the extended scale of those guitars.

I like the pink and purple one :)

Yeah, I had been considering getting one of the LTD Carpenter sigs a while back, most notably the mahogany baritone one.

    As do I.

I don't really have a dream guitar anymore... just guitars I'd like for a particular purpose... there isn't one guitar that I could settle on and leave it at that. Having said that, if we're purely talking indulgences here, purely for irrational GAS reasons I'd currently go for a Navigator 57V and a Bacchus P

Les Paul Custom 57 Reissue 2 Pickup with bigsby. The custom shop in Memphis make these as part of the 'Vintage Original Spec' line now, I've been lucky enough to have visited the custom shop too, you can appreciate the work that goes into something like this.

Granted the Bigsby is pretty impractical, but it just looks so good. Plus, I've got an nicely ageing custom without the bigsby, doesn't look quite as nice though as this one though.

Custom PRS 22, with the extinct wolly mammoth ivory inlays (purely for the prestige of it)

(i ll settle for an SE PRS or a Fender Jaguar for the moment)
