I've been moving too and from from 200nl to 400nl over the last few days on i-poker... I don't have that many hands yet on 400nl but just some observations...

Am I correct in my observations and any other advice appreciated...

    1) I'm at tables where 70% of the players have 18-26% VPIP.. a few have 26-35 and virtually thats it... is this normal?

    2) The place is 3 bet mad!! I havn't had a 4 bet called yet..

    3) I got AA 6 times today... I rasied twice and took the blinds.. twice I three bet with them and got no caller and twice I 4 bet with them and he folded each time... same villan each time with the 4 bet..
Should I just be calling the 3 bet??

Don't get me wrong I'm happy to win with the yokes at all!!

    4) I was getting my C bets floated a lot and I'd check a missed tune and they would generally lead the river... and I'd fold....... Standard I suppose?

    5) As expected the standard seems higher than 1/2.. I found it hard to get paid with my big hands.. had quite a few sets today and none went to showdown

    6) I found in a lot of cases they folded to a second bullet after floating my flop bet... I was never much of a player for 2'nd bullet with air..... I normall check behind a missed turn but I found that I had to keep firing a few times today..

    7) Although I did make a profit today I found it a bit of a grind... after several hours of play I was up a Buy In which I suppose wasn't bad considering I was only 2 tabling.... But I never won a big pot all day.... I suppose small pot poker is the way to go?

Any opinions on the above or any help in geneal appreciated..

    Mac

#3 you should be almost always just calling a 3 bet with AA imo

    # you should be 4betting lighter so you can get action with you 4bet with AA imo

    5) has to be expected Id imagine. Id say you'll adjust to it though, you always have done at previous levels

I think the games goes through phases. There have definitely been times where 2/4 is fishier than 1/2 though. I'm not playing cash at the mo as have hit a bad run of form in them since coming back from Vegas and taking a timeout, the bit i did play on ipoker the games seemed to have gotten tougher alright, hopefully it's just a temporary thing.
