    Hello people,

Just looking at my gamecube games this morning and wondering if there are any killer games that I missed out on. These are the games that I have on the shelf right now:

    Burnout 2
    XIII
    Die Hard Vendetta
    Starfox adventures
    Mario Sunshine
    Donkey Kong jungle beat
    Zelda wind waker
    Zelda Twilight Princess
    Star Wars Rogue Leader
    Metroid Prime
    Metroid Prime 2
    Super Monkey Ball
    Timesplitters 2
    Eternal Darkness
    Tony Hawks 3
    F-Zero GX
    Doshin The Giant
    Mario Kart Double Dash
    Rocky
    Soul Calibar 2
    Super Smash bros
    Resident evil 1
    Resident evil 0

I know there are a few others that I finished/sold/lent etc but can't really think of them right now.

Just wondering if anybody has any recommendations of great games that I missed out on that I should try to look out for.

    Thanks :D

Nice collection there. Here's a few you haven't mentioned that I'm pretty fond of:

Animal Crossing -- It's not really a game; in fact, it isn't a game at all. There nothing to test your skill, there's nothing exhilirating or thrilling, and there are no goals, except arbitrary ones you might set yourself. And yet! It's utterly charming and a joy to spend a half hour with each day. (It's also much better suited to the DS, which is the version to go for if you can.)

Chibi Robo -- Another utterly charming game, but this time with a game underneath. It's all about exploring an average suburban house (but as a robot the size of a pencil), meeting its inhabitants (the human family, various animals and the toys, which come to life at night, onv.) and eeking out the solutions to their various woes.

Killer7 -- Mad as a snake 3D-but-2D shooter, with a prominent narrative that's only just the right side of inpenetrable to be exciting and memorable.

Paper Mario: the Thousand Year Door -- Japanese RPG but good.

Viewtiful Joe -- Stylish 2D scrolling beat-'em-up with a very cool combat system and a stupid, unnecessary difficulty spike just before the end.

Pikmin 2 -- Explore a giant garden, growing and commanding your hordes of little radish men to beat up stuff, collect valuable rubbish and die by the thousand.

I'll second the Paper Mario and Pikmin 1 & 2 mentions there... All great games dripping in Nintendo-ness ;)

Thanks for the reply arse, some good ones there alright.

I'll have to completely disagree with you about Animal crossing, I have that for the ds and I hate it so much!

The pikmin games are ones I've always meant to pick up but never did, I completely forgot about them in the end. I'll keep my out for them and paper mario, the snes and n64 paper mario games were class.

Ikaruga: Classic arcade style verticle/horizontal shooter with a cool colour change system. A real brain strain game

Tales of Symphonia: Marvellous RPG. Great battle system thats more like streets of Rage than an RPG. Great voice acting, story and soundtrack.

Don't miss out on Fire Emblem. It's like an Advance Wars RPG and is made by the same people. The turn based strategy battles are excellent and the story is brilliant.

Other good RPGs are Skies of Arcadia, Baten Kaitos and Baten Kaitos Origins.

Battalion Wars is a whole heap of fun if a little short and without multiplayer.

I'd get Megaman Mega Collection as well. The Megaman games are still brilliant and it's best on the GC.

You also need to get Zelda: Four Swords. Even in single player it's a brilliant game, however with 2 or more players it's amazing.

Pretty much every great game has been covered already, the only other one I can think of is Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes
I loved the original MGS, but didn't like this one quite as much. Still a solid game though, and definitely worth a play

Could never get my hands on that. Was it even released on PAL?

Oh and Geist was a good game. Paranormal First Person Possess-em-up. There's FPS bits in it as well, but they were pretty woeful.

A few that aren't technically GC-exclusive, but are worth checking out if you don't have them.

Beyond Good and Evil: Fun and charming little Zelda-ish adventure with a decent plot and some of the most likeable and sympathetic characters this side of Animal Crossing.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time: The whole PoP trilogy are good games, but the first is the best by far. Unfortunately, it's also the hardest to get.

Godzilla - Destroy All Monsters: It's no classic , but I've had some highy entertaining multiplayer scraps with this. It'll probably be at least a week before smashing someone over the head with an office block gets old.

i suggest luigis mansion, one of the first games out on the cube but still worth a go. avoid final fantasy crystal chronicles, its a turkey in disguise.

It never got a PAL release unfortuanatley, thank god for freeloader.

Thanks for reminding me about Geist, almost forgot about it. Every time I think my GC collection is complete I remember another game I forgot to pick up.

Not much of a disguise: it says "Final Fantasy" right on the front of the box.

    Controversial!

Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes. Remake of the original PS1 MGS with some cool over the top scenes and slightly better gameplay. Worth a look.

final fantasy in general are alright, some good some bad ones but crystal chronicles was awful.
ive been lookin for chibi robo for ages, hard to find without forkin out a huge wad of cash. pikmin 2 is a definite must though, 1 was a little frustrating with the time limit.

I liked Pikmin 1 as much as the second game. The time limit gave you plenty of time to beat the game.

You are better off getting the american version of Chibi Robo, the PAL release had a very limited print run and is very rare and hence expensive.

I bought this a couple of years ago and would rate it as the worst game I have ever played (obviously not a fan of the MGS series).

    Tales of Symphonia was great.

Gamestop. Was a random warehouse clearout of GC games so there were a few other bargains to be had.
