Is it possible to have 2 x Sky HD in a house? I don't see this option on Sky's web site. If so, does anyone know what that would cost? Is it packages (€30 or whatever) + €15 for the HD + €15 for multiroom?

Technically it's possible. I think that Sky simply don't expect anyone to have two rooms with HDTVs!

It is an option, not dissimilar to having SkyHD and Sky+ multiroom, it should cost by my logic, your basic sub + HD + multiroom. Since you don't pay your sub twice for multiroom then I wouldn't expect you'll have to pay twice for HD.

or you could hook your HD box HDMI to a splitter and in conjunction with a magic eye could have HD in two rooms with one sub, would have to watch the same channel in both rooms but is an option, you could also use both the component and HDMI outputs on the HD box at the same time I'd imagine for the same result, HDMI does not like long runs however so long cables can be expensive

I have 2 Sky HD boxes - 1 in the bedroom and 1 downstairs.

I'm on the "World package" and have Movies and Sports and it's €111 a month. You have to buy the 2 boxes at the time I think it was €449 a box.

The best bit is my GF pays the bills!!:D
