    Hi,

I am currently living aboard but I am hearing from friends that the construction boom is really slowing down in Ireland. Is this true? I have a family friend who runs a construction company and this time last year he had 75 people workin for him but now he only has 3 and also brick layers are approaching him looking for work, when before he found it very hard to get brick layers. On the other hand I have a friend who is plumber who says that he is pretty busy. I know people love to shout doom and gloom but is it that bad? I kinda knew it had to slow down at some stage but I hope its not as bad as I am hearing, for example I was playing football with a team at home and out of about 20, there was 13 tradesmen.
