While wasting some time in work today I was looking through the GAS thread which started me looking at SemiAcoustics(AGAIN!). Anywho I came across the Schecter C1 EA. Its a sweet looking semi with a piezo. The reviews are fantastic and the price is very reasonable too.

What are peoples views on Schecters?

I've not played one myself, but the consensus is that they're good, and they're spoken highly of.

What I tell people is "1200 worth of guitar for 600". Great looks, great playability....and I get both metal and blues tones out of it.

    I own a c1 classic and a c-7 hellraiser..love them!
What I tell people is "1200 worth of guitar for 600".

I personal feel that their worth way more then 1200. Their prices are amazing if you look at their specs..even some of their low end models for 300-400 euro have amazing spec. If your thinking of getting one i'd say go for it....only guitar i can think of that can match their quality is prs,

You go, Quattroste! I doubt you'll be disappointed at all, and probably quite surprised, as long as the guitar's been kept up nicely.

Yeah I'm looking at getting a C1 hellraiser myself. Just out of interest, those that have them, where did you get them? Would you recommend any sites or is there a dealer in Ireland? I found them for a good price on ebay but I'm afraid it would get damaged plus I'd have to pay customs also.

I got one in the states and the other in Scotland. Thomann.de sell a selected range.

Would that be the strings & things wholesale shop on ebay? If it is, he delivers to Ireland for free on most items.
Anywho, you'd still be gettin' a good deal with customs/vat included.
Was GASin' for one for a while, but now I be huntin' down an Edwards.......

    I have a C1+ and a Stiletto Studio-4.
Brought the C1+ back from the US, great guitar. The bass on eBay.
That "strings & things" shop on eBay is worth keeping an eye on.

They're good guitars for sure, but that's a bit of an overstatement. For the money, though, they are hard to beat.

Hey bombidol, I read in previous threads you have the C-1 XXX, is it really that good, 'cos I can get one from the States for $450 incl shipping, fair enough I'll be paying customs/vat on top of that.
