i'm trying to install the 30 day free trail of CS3, but i keep getting this error; any ideas?, i've tried to install it about 5/6 times now :( ta

Had you installed the beta at any stage? Adobe's own forums and other PS related forums are awash with install issues for CS3 - so just do a google on photoshop cs3 install fails or some other combination of those.
