Placing a link for an item in to a chat window

    Guys,
    From time to time I want to be able to place a link to an item in to a chat. Is there anyway(or addon) that will allow you.
    I'm trying to get the Gyro-Balanced gun crafted and with all the activity of the trade channel a purple item stands out far more than a piddling [Gyro-Balanced Khorium Destroyer ] effort.
    This item wasn't in AH the last time I looked so I couldn't take it from there.
    I've heard it said that auctioneer allows this. How?
