Quick question

I'm getting Sky installed in the next few days, and I happen to have an old digibox lying around the house. I'm just wondering, how simple would it be to get the old box hooked up (just with the FTA channels) in another room, and what are the chances of the Sky installers being able to hook it up for me (presumably requiring an extra few quid, "into the hand")?

It'll probably depend on the individual doing the installation. When mine was being installed I asked him to run cables from the unused outputs of the LNB. He said "no" as he was an independent installer and Sky would only pay him for what he was supposed to do. I said of course I'd pay him for it - "grand. no problem"

€20 for his trouble. Saved me getting a ladder and messing up the alignment.

    €20 was very reasonable.
