    Guys,
Having a small problem with Microsoft Word. A couple of years ago I used be able to insert comments in a word document by highlighting a piece of text and inserting the comment. The piece of text would then be automatically highlighted in Yellow and if you put the curser over it the comment would appear in pop-up. However, I cannot get this to work now. (different PC, MS Word 97 SR-2.)

    Any ideas?

I can insert the comments and when I go View \ comments the comment is there.

EDIT: I have tried MS Word help and google....

I've Office 2003 and in Word, if you have the Review toolbar enabled, the procedure you describe will work, i.e. highlight the paragraph you wish to commen and click on the little comment button in the review toolbar. In my version, this highlights the text in pink and opens the reviewing pane to enter your comment.
    Does this help?
