mods - don't want to review the movie or anything, just generally chat about it, so if you feel this is better suited to Films, feel free to move.

Anyone seen this yet? I went to see it last night. I'm a big fan, so was really excited about it.

I don't want to color anyone's judgement of it, so I won't say too much. It felt very much like one of the more recent episodes in style and tone, A good plot line, some very very funny moments and a lot of funny ones. I was expecting them to take advantage of the fact that it was a movie release to push the boundaries a bit, but I suppose the PG rating meant that that wasn't going to happen. But I really enjoyed it overall.

the first 45 mins were side splittingly funny - some great gags. It lagged a bit in the middle and got a bit serious, and I think the plot made it drag a bit. apart from that though, thoroughly enjoy it. I haven't laughed at a movie like that in a long time - some classic moments..

    8/10

went to see it today. Thought it was very good. Felt more like classic Simpsons episodes in that most jokes found their mark. Not a spoiler but Ralph's comment was brilliant!

Could and should have done a lot more on the big screen, the first half of the movie was very good, but the rest was a big disappointment for me..

    6/10
