Looking for some help here if possible.
I recently re-installed xp on my machine as I think my pc had a virus and xp was running really slow, anyway after the install xp is fine and all programs are running well except video files.
When I open a video on any player (wmp, winamp, real etc.) and maximise it it runs slow and flickers.
I have installed all the old codecs I had before my xp crashed (videos worked perfectly then) but still videos run slow now.

    Any Ideas ??

Have you updated your Xp to SP2?
    Have you updated DivX?
have you tried VLC player to play the files?
Is it just .avi's that are running slow or do mpegs, dvd's also run slow?
Try all these. We'll figure it out
