Fleas in the Bed

    My dog got fleas and now they are in my bed. How do I get rid of them?

    Change the bed covers then hoover the mattress regularly. If you have a bag hoover put in a flea collar into it. Treat the dog monthly with advantage or other flea drop preperations. Also hoover the floors and any soft furnishings regularly until they are gone. Perhaps a steam cleaner would work also on the mattress, you can get them for around 50 euro or so now.

    You can get a powder in the chemist. Sprinkle on your bed, leave for a few hours then vacuum. Works a treat.
