I did swag about 12 years ago at an SLF gig in what was the Mean Fiddler, at the time, on Wexford Street.. but I was very impressed with the support, I think they were from Dundalk, a band called Rumble.. I grabbed their CD at the time and it was a favourite of mine.. sure if I ever dig it out again I'll still like it..

Anyone ever happen upon them or know if they're still together or what happened to them?

I was at that very same gig. The Rumble singer went off on a mad walkabout through the crowd singing into his radio mike. Rumble also played in my home town of Thurles shortly after. I bought the cd at the time, don't know what happened to it. A few good songs on it. Very Ramones sounding if I remember right.
