Never heard of it. Is it a computer game or a board game?

computer - kinda like championship manager etc. except for hurling

its by the gpa so its got all the players names but not the county crests or stadium names

Ah it needs to be half decent first I'd say. Not having crests or stadia names just detracts from the experience. Havent actually played it now myself(lacking funds/bothering about computer games). Looks kinda funnny to one extent, it may be good.

Can you go through the league and on into championship and call up different players? Cos if your stuck with the same squad, well thats just wrong. You'd need massive investment and be able to have certain counties more focussed to select different clubs(not to manage, but bring up to county squad). Bit primitive overall I'd say.

Jesus, if it's anything like that Gaelic Football game that was out a couple of years ago, it'll be atrocious. That was easily the worst game I've ever played.

Completely different type of game to the football one.

The football one was bloody awful alright. I wont dig into the Hurling game without playing it but i cant see it working. Firstly as the makers of the game know its going to a very small market on the gaming front and so couldnt see them putting huge effort into it. Also, as pointed out before, without transfers, games like this tend to get boring. Try playing Championship manager and only play as a National Team Manager where you cannot transfer, youll quit very quickly. Having said that, i havent played it so i am only guessing here but hope it will be better than i think it might be.

    The game looks good.

If anyone's played it can they let me know

    The minimum PC specs?
I only have 128MB of RAM on an ancient PC which I'll be replacing shortly.

How many consecutive seasons can be played?

Does the game unfold commentary style like Championship Manager?

I got it. It's ok. All the player's names are there which is a good thing, you have to outline the training sessions and everything. The matches are a little bit slow to progress through.

I lost 1 challenge game and I got fired :(

Game seems to be quite decent but does seem to have some bugs. One of those being that you seem to get sacked far far too easily.

To do well at the game you really have to spend time organising the training. To be honest I find this part a little dull (as I did in Football Manager). I just prefer playing around with the tactics and playing matches.

So those of you that own this game, what's it really like? I presume there's no transfers between the counties, but is there stuff like finding various club players? Or are you stuck with the panel you get?

    Is it worth the money?
