    Hi y'all,

    Was at a friend of mine's house today (in germany) because he had just got in broadband and wanted the wireless setup which is usually a piece of piss to setup -but not today.

    Heres the situation:
    * The internet and dhcp work fine via cat5.
    * The internet and dhcp work fine via wireless with no security.
    * DHCP will not give out an address when either WEP, WPA or WPA2 are used.

    Computer is XP Pro with SP2 installed. Broadcom 802.11 b/g WLAN (in a HP Laptop).

    Tried it with my laptop aswell with MS Vista.

    I have tried everything; resetting the router; turning off all firewalls; trying different length keys; trying different channels;

    Anyone come across the likes before? Anyone got any ideas?

    Thanks for any help/advice.
