Okay has anyhow tired this, I have given it a limited run about on my orbit and see that the Teleatlas Maps are better than my Garmin 660 FM

It also has roads in it that are not yet completed but inserted onto the mapping so they are there when the road is open.

The M1/N1 North Bound Route between Feede Mountain and Newry is not yet open but is on the mapping, as I drove down the unopened motorway and even has all slip roads and roundabouts etc right to Cloughe in Newry.

My Neighbour is road testing it in the Midlands at the moment so will update when he is in later

Is that the 2007.01 version of the Ireland map (which is afaik the newest)?

Found it was disappointing. A lot of roads outside the major urban areas are unnamed, most of Leixlip for example. It seems to be something to do with the way they buy their data, as Lucan (Co Dublin) is well covered.
