Moral Dilemma

Live 1-2 I'm on the button with 34s

    UTG raises to 4
2 limpers, I call and blinds calls pot pot £20 (sterling so 30 yo yo)

    flop 77Jr
    checked around
    turn J
    Checked around
    River 8

I've no interest in this pot and I barely notice as one by one the players muck their cards without declaring any hand. I really only wake up as the guy next to me is pushing the pot towards me

Do I even have to think about this

None. If cards were shown and the pot was mistakenly being pushed to you then I would tell them, but in this case he conceded the pot, so you muck your cards and move on. It's not a huge amount anyhow to get worried about. No moral dilemma there.

Presumably you were about to bet if it was checked to you anyway (and if not, why not?) so I don't see the dilemma here either!
