I haven’t been to the doctor in years, need to go for a checkup, nothing serious. My family doctor I used to go to lives miles away, I want to find one near where I live. Taking time off work is a pain in the ass, so I’d preferably like one that is open more than standard business hours. Is there a website with listings? How hsould I go about finding one hear me that is suitable? Thanks

Hi, you dont mention where you are in Dublin. I used to live in Dundrum and went to Brian Fagan on Ballinteer Ave and highly reccomend him. He is a fantastic doctor and very professional.

If you want to do a search just go to Goldenpages.ie type in 'GP' and your area and you will get a good few hits.

Big yellow book with pages. Can't for the life of me think what it's called.

I would have to go with personnal recommendations ask your friends workmates that live in the same area.

A doctor is someone you put your trust in so take the advice from someone you already trust.

Don't know where you are located but there are a few open clinics in Dublin where you don't need an appointment and they open on Saturdays. There's one on Dame Street near the pharmacy (AIB side) and one in Rathmines opposite Tramco.

Thanks. Anywhere around Blackrock, Dubnlaoghaire, Monkstow etc would be best. Do doctors often open late, like till 7pm etc?
