Is there anywhere in dublin that sell these at a decent price?

I heard Peats had one for 20e but its that for 2.5\' drives only?

I suppose you could always try Maplins which is just around the corner from Peats on parnell street. Although It would definitely be cheaper to get a decent enclosure on komplett.ie if you can wait?

If it's an IDE drive, eBay. Can't beat it for price.
If it's SATA, then you're kinda screwed. They're expensive, and peats were the best I could find, but it's the better part of 50 quid.

Mslug -here is a place in the US which sell SATA external drives for about 22euro. -and shipping is free  - yes free.

I got one 2 weeks ago and works with both IDE and Sata.
You will need to change the lead - but all us geeks have boxes of them around the place anyhow :D

and get a cheap RC Helicopter while you are at it.

ps - don't blame me for wasting a few hours looking thru this website :D

I'm sorry but I am blaming you, I've already picked out about 10 items that I really want but will probably never even use when I get them. Oh well more money than sense :D
