Just noticed there that the ntl: website has been updated and now sports a layout and design identical to www.upc.nl

Chorus website still unchanged though. Wonder if this means the rebranding is this month?

It has been like that for two weeks I think.

Rebranding could happen anytime, or maybe never as they could keep them seperate. They seem to be using a graphic showing "NTL and Chorus - a UPC Company" now for a few weeks as well.

NTL have been putting down UPC branded manhole covers for a while now too.

It probably has been like that for two weeks, I live in a chorus area so have no reason to visit the site (only visited it after a link in another thread).
Strange about ntl putting down UPC manhole covers. When the cable was upgraded in my area they just put down manhole covers with CATV labled on them...

All signs of the rebranding I suppose...I hope they do it soon because Ive had about all I can take of the Chorus EPG!

Yes it was rebranded earlier this month. Note however it's using the old look and feel. If you view source and dig out the UPC logo, they are not using the new flower design. Also the icons are round as opposed to petal like. Either they where not informed of the larger rebrand or they are not adopting it.

Typical Chorus/Ntl...Spend a fortune rebranding the company to match the other European operations and what do they do, rebrand to the older out of date logos, and website!

They haven't even re branded yet. Go to www.upc.ie and it gives you the options of going to NTL or chorus website. Don't let that get in the way of a good rant though.

It's an interim tweak to the branding. They'll move over to UPC when they're ready to.

    The current brand is :

The new logo must be pretty recent - I've never seen it before and I've looked at UPC sites earlier this year (and the www.upc.ie site used to have the old logo), and some other countries' sites are still using the old logo (see the Belgian one).

This money-wasting seems to happen with rebranding. I remember when the Ulster Bank opened in UL a couple of years ago, and about a month later they introduced their new corporate image using the RBS logo (instead of the NatWest logo) and font, so had to change all the signs, the bezels around the ATMs, etc. You think they just could have used temporary signs for the one month?

Yeah. They also seem to be installing unbranded "on-the-wall" boxes for cable. Mine was replaced today, but its just blank. No mention of any company
