    Sorry Quick question- Want to make a mojito. I din't notice but the rum I bought is light dry white rum will the taste be ruined or is it the right variety?

    Nope thats the perfect style of rum for a mojito! Glad to see you're making the most of the weather! ;):p

    Make sure you use fresh mint leaves though. It really makes a difference!

    any recommendations on where to get the mint?
    im in dublin 13 and dont have time to get to town today,
    would dunnes / superquinn sell it?

    Yes.

    Mint is one of those hard herbs so you may even get a plant of it in a pot in dunnes or superquinn and keep it on a windowsill.
