Moving house...Sky Digital (and Eircom BB)

    Hi,
I'm leaving my apartment for an address as yet unknown at the end of August. The problem is I have Sky Digital and Eircom Broadband and it will be less than the 12 months minimum contract if I cancel.
Any ideas what I can do to avoid penalty fees etc ? I would be happy to go with both of them again at the new address, the problem is I don't know what that address is.

    Suggestions much appreciated,
    Thanks

You should be able to freeze your account with both providers, explain to them your predicament that you have no choice to move but have to move into temporary accommodation for the time being,

Eircom BB has only a 6 month contract now. I cancelled mine about 2 years ago with about 4 months left of a 12 month contract and never got penalised.

For Sky they have a Moving House hotline, 0818 719 893, I would hardly think they would penalise for moving house as you are continuing their service. But you will probably have to pay another installation charge for the new place

You can self install, 3rd party install or get sky to install. No need for a new contract.
