So ... I've had a miserable day (awww). The highlight so far has been the thread about the gigantic bird army ... which is nice.

Anyway, I get home and I fire up Sky Comedy ... to see what's on. Something called "Must love dogs" ... and it stars Diane Lane.

Now, I know I've seen Diane Lane before in TV shows (Lonesome Dove) and also in movies (Judge Dredd) ... but sitting here tonight, propped up all alone on the sofa in my dressing gown, it suddenly hit me ... this woman is beautiful. :eek:

No make up, no bouffant hairdos, no glitzy clothes ... and yet, in this movie, I think she is the most alluring and attractive woman I have ever seen.

'Scuse me ... don't think I'll be posting much tonight ... I'm watching a movie.

Aww I love her. She's so elegant. Was randomly looking through channels a few weeks ago and "Under the Tuscan Sun" was on...probably wouldn't be something I'd watch usually but I was just in one of those moods...the biatch even made me cry! Turned out to be a really nice movie in the end. She's beautiful.

She's beautiful, good actress too. She's had loads of small parts in crappy films over the years (Perfect Storm, Jack, The Glass House, etc). But she's a much better as a leading actress, like in Tuscan Sun or A Walk on the Moon. She plays an unfaithful house-wife in that as well. I guess good leading actresses don't have much to choose from, it's either girlfriend roles or cheating wives. I didn't care much for Under the Tuscan Sun but she was perfectly cast and it was far superior to A Good Life.

Yeah, she's been around since she was a kid and yet she's not that well-known. I only became aware of her when Unfaithful came out - the one where she's getting pawed an awful lot by Kylie's ex, Olivier whatsisname. Agreed. Awful film - tries so hard to be all sensual and erotic, but fails. However she's beautiful in it.
