    Hi Guys,

Komplett have 2 sweet deals on at the moment.

One is the Samsung 32" LCD-TV LE32S62B which has been reduced by 11% to €579

The other is the Sony Bravia 32" LCD-TV KDL-32U2000 at €699.

Now I am intending to buy a 32 " for my bedroom and want to mount in on the wall. Bought a pc with a wireless keyboard so am intending to use the LCD to watch tv, play poker, surf the net and to watch dvds.

Which one would you go for? I'm favouring Sony at the moment because of the brand and the price. Any other LCDS that might be worth considering?

    Thanks

After posting the Sony tv I suspect that people saw it and snapped up the 2 remaining tvs on Komplett! Raging!

Anyone know where else I could buy this Sony tv for roughly the same amount?

    Thanks

The Sony U-Series isn't worth the money they were asking. It's a very basic TV and considering that it was the 2000 model, that been outdated nearly a year ago, you should consider yourself lucky that it's been sold out.

In the €600 price range you should be able to pick up a very good Philips/Samsung/LG, I have a Sony myself and only have that because I got it second hand. If I wa buying new, I'd be going Samsung or Sharp, at the minute they have much better quality than much of what I've seen.

Well I read very good reviews on it and plus it had freeview and a digital tuner! Will probably buy a Samsung as have heard good reports and they look pretty bling aswell!

Was thinking of getting this one!
    Thoughts?

I bought the Samsung LE32S81B model a few weeks ago and it is perfect. I do not think there is much difference between this model and the R81 that you are considering (going on data from Komplett and other sites), but someone with a greater technical knowledge may dispute this. It cost €649 in Komplett. I suspect the R81 is just a newer model with maybe a third HDMI input - probably not enough to justify €250.

I have not used it much for TV yet, but so far for playing DVDs and connecting to the PC, it is brilliant. It will be even better when I get a wall mount kit for it.

    I hope this helps,

    Tom...
