    Hi All,

I got 2 Chorus boxes installed last week and am already having problems with them. I keep getting a message on 1 of them saying that there maybe a problem with the connection to the decoder or else I get a screen that says " network Configuration". It is a real nusance because I have to plug it in and out a few times to get it going again. I have also noticed that if the one downstairs is plugged out the upstairs one won't come back on. I have rang Chorus but they can't send anyone out for another 2 and a half weeks.

    Any idea's appreciated.

MMDS is where they placed an aerial on top of your house etc. Cable is where they ran a cable from a central tap which usually powers a neighbourhood etc.

If it is indeed an MMDS connection, then the main box will have to be left in at all times, as this is used to power the Downconvertor on the aerial....
