    Use google as your main search engine?

    Try blackle instead. Same search. Less energy.

    That is very clever. I think it is worth noting that Google are pretty good energy wise. They are setting up data centres where they can use hydroelectric power. They have solar power on the roofs of some of their buildings as well. It makes sense for companies like this to save energy.
    Computers use vast amounts of energy. A few generations of the energy we currently put into keeping Moores law going into reducing the energy usage of computers could go very far.

    I think it's actually a separate company that just uses the results of the google search. Check the about section. I agree though, I think it is very very clever.
