Nice find in San Francisco

I was in San Francisco recently and visited a small vintage shop called Real Guitars (as distinct from fake ones perhaps?). 30 mins later and I left carrying this original 1975 strat. I've been walking around with a stupid grin on my face ever since.

The neck pickup sounds soooo sweet through a TS9. The bridge pickup is a bit harsh, but I find that I mostly end up using the neck pickup on strats anyway. Sounds great through Voodoo Child's old Studio 22 Boogie.

The old timers in the shop were really sound and after playing up the 'ol Oirish charm a bit, I talked them down to around a grand (Euro). It's not in quite as good nick as the pics would suggest and some of the parts (tuners & saddles) aren't original, but still seemed like a great deal.

    Neurohacker you bastard.

Wow man, that's not just a "nice find", that's a real beauty with some serious SRV mojo vibe dripping out of her nice big burst ass!

    Congrats! :)

    Can I have a go?

Here's two clips I recorded late last night by DI'ing the guitar into my PC and putting some Guitar Rig amp models on it. The patch I used on the first one is called Stevie Rhythm :) :
