It has a built-in flash & has a hotshoe for a flash gun.
The kit lens is fine, for someone starting out.
It is possible to buy the body on its own.

It comes with a built in flash but you can also get extra flashes for it. Personally I shoot in the light and haven't got an extra flash

The lens (18-55mm) is fine for general shots of buildings, landscapes, people, animals. Just depends how far away they are and how close you want/need to get.

It comes with an onboard flash. You can buy separate stronger flashes.
The included 'kit' lens is good, it depends on how much experience you have as to whether you will notice its limits.
And it is possible to buy just the body.
