"ROME" on BBC2

Anyone been watching this? The last episode of series 2 was on last night - a very satisfying ending I must say. I know that the writers are bound by history, but I thought all the little sub-plots were tied up very well. It's been a brilliant show, I hope they make more, but if they don't, it was a great way to go out.

Great show, but they won't be making it anymore. Its costs were too high and they weren't getting they ratings unfortunately. The guy who plays Titus Pullo will be in the next Punisher movie by the way.

ahh - interesting. The scheduling on BBC2 was a bit weird, Sundays and Weds (I think) - I guess the original series was 2 hour long eps, in this series they were broken into two per week or something. Thanks to sky+, there always seemed to be a new ep waiting for me.

Well if its any consolation the region 1 dvd is out next month. Cant wait to see it again.

shame this is over for good, great tv, bbc just looked like they wanted to get it over and done with by having it on twice a week
