Time to get these going again and Slash/ED is next up according to this thread.

    Same Rules:

There can be NO flaming, this isn't a chance for people to have a shot at who ever goes in. Entrants to the Deconstructing series will have their thick skins on but forum rule breaches will be dealt swiftly and harshly with by a 1 week ban, so you have all been warned.

Just to spell it out: NO PERSONAL ATTACKS, criticise and critique his game and NOTHING else!

Keep it constructive and good luck Slash/ED.

Ha, forgot I was in this. Not many here have know who I am but if you goto the jackpot you've played with me more than likely. Any opinions from those who do know me is welcome anyway, good or more than likely woefully bad...

I think in all the times we've played they've mostly never been serious games so it's hard to give much criticism.

In tournaments from the few times I've seen you play such as in the Jackpot I thought you played good and solid, and picked the right spots to be aggressive, took advantage of position etc. Not much to say. You're quite good at changing gears and adjusting to the bubble/shorthanded etc.

In cash games I think you're a bit too loose for the way you play and overplay kind of thrashy suited hands - 96s, T7s etc. Again I haven't played that much with you so i can't really give specific examples (either that or i can't remember any lol). A few times you seem to get into spots with the above type of hands where you're playing things like TP crap kicker in big-ish pots instead of looking to play these aggressively on draw heavy boards. I also think playing these hands as much as you do at the levels you generally play isn't the best of ideas as bluffing at missed draws/semi-bluffing won't be very effective.

Another slight thing is with players whom you know you sometimes seem to rely a bit too much on what you know about them as players rather than the hand in play. This can also be the case sometimes with the above paragraph i feel. Trying to take bad calling stations off hands is another thing, though we're all guilty of that sometimes!

Overall I think if you tighten up a bit you could become a very good player and could make easy money playing online if you got some discipline and lost your blind hatred of it! :p

    Yo,

Thanks for the reply, trib. I probably agree on most of that. However, what do you mean with the second last paragraph? Surely this kind of thing is good? I'm a bit confused...The rest is probably spot on, though...

How can I criticise someone who has won the chinese world series of pokah??
And of that there is no doubt.
