    Hi all,

Anyone have any idea on where to get an Irish accent voice file for TomTom? Specifically I'm after a Cork accent as my dear sweetheart would love it for her car... :D

    Thanks in advance...

Are you sick and tired of tomtom voices. How about hearing your own voice? I came across this site which gives you all the instrucions to make your own tomtom voices. I havent tried it myself. I bookmarked it so i can try it when i have some time. Here is the link and you can have a go at it. http://tomtom.graemelucas.co.uk/index.htm

    Thanks all for the help.

The free voices on the net are pretty good but no crazy cork accents there... however recording ones own voice could be pretty cool, I'll check it out, thanks!

It depends on your woman of course, but most of them just love the sound of their own voice!!! :D:D:D

Can you get an Irish accent for Garmin Nuvi?? I'm sick of British Daniel at this stage.

No Garmin Nuvi add on voices I'm afraid, but I'd love a Roy Keane voice. "You're some tool. I've to recalculate!", "Turn left here boy", "Told ya I'd get your here, didn't I?"

I created my own voice a good while ago. It's been quite popular and have had people mention to me that they've heard other people use it. You can download it by searching for Irish Ross.

So how do you go about creating your own voice for Garmin?
