Okay so I'm 18, a girl, and I haven't been to the hairdressers since I was 13. Not suprisingly I'm sick to the teeth of my hair now, it's been nothing but standard, just longer than shoulder length for too long so I want to get it changed.

I was thinking of getting it cut to just above my shoulder, maybe slightly layered, but I don't know what to do with it after that... I really want something new done with the front of it but I'm not a great fan of fringes, I was thinking maybe a bit of a side fringe but I dunno. I need something easy to look after, my hair has a slight wave to it as well which means I'm forever pulling out straighteners. Anyway I was wondering does anyone have any ideas?

To be honest I'm not even sure what to say to the hairdresser when I go in... I don't even know what hairdresser to go to! If anyone knows of one in Dublin City Centre I'd be gratefull for advice on that too!
