Hi guys. Looking for advice on where to get the best value for a 17 - 19 inch flat screen monitor to connect to a Dell PC. Im in Donegal so would need delivery which can be a bit pricey with some firms.

    Thanks in advance

Didn't do too much research into it, but bought one of these from Komplett a couple of months back.

Have had no probs using it with a Dell PC, or an Xbox 360. Go for a 19" - IMO if you are upgrading there's not much saving to be had in buying a 17".

That looks good. I take there are no compatibility issues with these things.

I assume any monitor would suit any PC?

If buy this D07C12 Dimension C521 for €323.32 (Reduce support to 1yr. CAR & remove mouse.) Then you've got a 19" screen (that's made to work with a Dell) and a computer, for an extra €130. :D

Thanks Oracle. I had in fact bought one of the C521 models but sent it back to Dell as I was mislead about the graphics card. However you have pointed out a damn good deal and it would suit someone.

I have since bought a 9200 model at a great price from their Ebay outlet but I need a monitor. Im leaning towards the one mentioned by The Atheist
    .
Got a friend to check the price of one in a local PC store where he has a mate working (hopefully get a good discount) but the cheapest they would do a 17" for was €189. I can get the acer 19" model from Komplett for €2 more incl. delivery

OK I seem to be having bad link karma recently. Anyway sounds like you don't want another Dell! For anyone that does go to www.dell.ie/epp and enter e-value code 305-D07C12 in the e-value box in the middle of the page. Reduce support to 1yr. CAR and remove the mouse.
