    Never really paid attention in chemistry (except long enough to pass) so forgive me for the stupid question.

    titration desk using 1M HCl.
    they have put in a new desk (steel). i am vaugely remembering that HCl can corrode steel, releasing FeIIICl.

    How true is my very shakey recollection?

    not my Lab so not going to affect me like
