Since taking up Airsoft I can't watch an action film now without watching what guns they are using closely !!!!!

I know exactly what you mean. Even tv shows. It's a curse! I keep trying to identify all the shiny guns and forget about the plot.

I wouldn't really know to be honest. Due to looking at the guns and all... :D

I do know however that the g36c seems to be popping up in more and more shows. Might explain the popularity its gaining in the airsoft world.

It's nice to know I'm not the only one afflicted with this condition. I can see a support group in the near future.

It seems to be that hollywood believe in the future all police/armies will be using the G36.
Equilibrium with Christian Bale theres a great scene where he does a flip and picks up a G36 at the same time.Fantastic looking
    This is it I think

In the future everyone will use HK416s due to their extreme awsomness

Pfft, i've been watching movies since I was about 12, constantly looking at what guns are being used, its an obsession! Not only that, I often find myself counting rounds fired and checking to see if slides lock back etc.

    Okayyyyyyyyyyy...

Well the BBC seem to have bought an armoury of G36C model props because everyone of their production for the past 3 years have featured them (where machine guns are involved) and a noticeable dearth of MP5's.

Dr Who, Torchwood, Jekyll too name but a few (Spooks & Bugs as well I believe). Is it an advertising conspiracy? Does the Beeb have a display contract with H&K? Am I throwing out wild conspiracy theories for cheap laughs?

    ... you be the judge.

I wonder what guns they will be using in the next Die Hard film "Die Hard - Almost Dead"? It's stars Bruce Willis as a man trying to defend his nursing home from the 'bad men' in white suits who trying to poison everyone with medication.

I'll tell you better than that, they're also using JT X-FIRE brand paintball masks. Sometimes used for airsoft also.

Yeah me too. I've been paying more attention to the guns in films than the film itself since I was about 12. Always worried my parents growing up that I knew how many rounds a beretta had from the age of 13. They once had a sit down talk with me after watching Lethal Weapon on video one night after I protested Mel Gibson had should have run out of ammo 5 rounds previous.
