I also met Mikael at Indian Summer Fest and he said they are def comin back to Europe in late fall.

So anybody any idea when exactly ? Or where ????

Id probably laugh if it turned out to be the cowshed. With any luck you'll get the unmentionable or Vicar St. Depending on whose promoting.

I'm hoping for vicar street. Jeff Tweedy played solo there last november and they were def asked to play EP so... It better not be in that exam hall, i'm warning them now...

The pod/ Aiken people are going to be running concerts in the grounds of the IMMA later this year, so it could be on there.

The pod/Aiken gigs will be indoor, from the article I read they are going to set up some sort of marque as it would be a bit chilly to hold gigs outdoor in winter. I think they are also planning to run special exhibitions in the museum to coincide with them

The Irish Times ( Ithink) had an article about winter gigs a few weeks ago which looked at how the various promoters are going to cope with a major venue being out of action this winter, thats where the IMMA was mentioned . The Aiken one looks great so long as they can get the big names to swith over to them:)
