Who'll take Jodie Marsh up the aisle?

Did anyone see this horrendous show on MTV tonight?

I am really disgusted that this show was made. Not for the obvious reasons that "Jodie is a skank", but for the pure fact that this woman is being taken advantage of and made into even more of a laughing stock than she already is.

I used to think she was a self-obsessed slapper until I started reading her blog. It's clear this woman has mental health problems - I believe this even more after watching this track wreck of a show.

She is vulnerable, delusional and extremely easily led. Her family appeared to be at a loss to stop her embarrassing herself on TV. She's very lucky her brother cares so much about her he stuck by her through all the cringeworth auditions she held, and it was very obvious he was concerned about her behaviour.

It's really vile to think a production team in MTV had a really great laugh taking advantage of someone with such a fragile state of mind, for the sake of upping their viewing figures.

"Who'll take Jodie Marsh up the aisle?"

    :D

Is that the actual name of the programme? I've never heard of it.

Do you really think that it wasn't her decision? She's clearly desperate for any publicity/money/exposure she can get her hands on.

Thankfully I didn't see it and hopefully I never will.

There was a guy on the Ray D'Arcy show a few weeks back that went along to one of the auditions for this show. There was hardly anyone there I think and most of them were just freaks. The guy sounded fairly alright and was saying about how he just went outside with her for a smoke and they chatted a bit. Can't remember if he made any comment on her mental state but in fairness, she's got to have something wrong in her head to do a show like this.

A normal desperate celeb would just do a crappy dating show or something like that, but holding auditions for a husband? That's just a little bit too psycho.

Sadly I get the feeling it's not that black and white. She seems very easily led. THe very fact her management went along with this shows they don't have her best interests at heart. This series is going to totally finish her "career" off..

Up the aisle? Up the arse certainly (oh...wait. I get it now.....haha the title of the show is a pun bwahaha  )

Anyway, tbh name one mentally stable person who was ever on reality tv.

Why start a thread about one random show when you should be talking about the whole channel? Is this one show relevant when the whole channel is a disgrace? I don't think so.

It's not like people expect more from MTV. You could question the sanity of anybody on those 'sweet 16 shows'. Reality checks galore needed there.

Haven't watched MTV since they started showing Jackass and Dirty sanchez. Disgusting, lowest common denominator shows..maybe I *did* expect too much of this show :)

I'm sure many of the sluts about the place would disagree with you out there.

She had an interview in the metro about it a while back. Dont think its going as well as she thought it would be.

Are the try outs still going? Have to get my 15 minutes of fame in some time!
